Stacking the Shelves

This meme is hosted over at Tynga's Reviews. This week, I got:

Obsession (Arum, #1)

Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout (e-book) - I loved the Lux serise, so I'm dying to read this.

Black City (Black City, #1)

Black City by Elizabeth Richards (library) - Heard very mixed things about this, but it looks cool.

 Unbreakable (Unraveling, #2)

Unbreakable by Elizabeth Norris - Unraveling was awesome. That is all.

Parallel

Parallel by Lauren Miller (library) - Kind of sounds like Pivot Point, so I'm game.

Icons (Icons, #1)

Icons by Margaret Stohl (library) - I hated Beautiful Creatures, but maybe this is better?

Towering

Towering by Alex Flinn (library) - Beautiful cover.

    1. Thanks! I went away for the weekend and brought my Nook, but I totally flaked out on bringing the charger, so I can't actually read it yet. *sigh* Thanks for stopping by.

    1. It is kind of interesting, with the girl staring out at you like that. Flinn does really cute re-tellings. :D

  10. I haven't read any of these, but have seen them pop up in the blogosphere. I really didn't like Beautiful Creatures either, so am hesitant to try anything else by those two authors, so I look forward to seeing what you think of Icons. Hopefully it's better since only one author wrote it!

  11. Towering was just an okay read for me, the best aspect, I thought, was the mystery. I loved Unbreakable (even more than the first book!) Awesome haul. :)

    1. Most of Flinn's books have been just alright to me; my expectations aren't incredibly high for Towering. I'm happy to hear about Unbreakable, though. :D

  13. I like hearing that Parallel is similar to Pivot Point, a book I adored-makes me even more eager to check it out.
